Todays fishing on Lake Erie was nasty with rain and wind 9/20/99.
Started fishing for steelhead off Trout Run. The boats caught no fish but a good many steelhead were caught from shore. Also at Walnut in the first pool.

Moved northwest of Walnut 6 miles fished 60 foot depth. Perch action was slow. (Very good here yesterday) Got to the point were the weather was enough for today quiting in 5 minuets. Then it happen the perch started hitting like crazy. Now felt warm and dry!!! The next couple hours was guick and we had 100 in the boat all fish caught were over 8 inches and up to 12.

GREAT DAY

Yesterday the boaters did well along with the shore anglers.

Creeks remain low.

Thanks for 5 minuets more!!!!!

It payed today
