May 20, 1999 6:45pm Flyfisherman, Just dropping a line ( no pun intended ) to inform the greedy of the most prolific hatch I have ever encountered. I live on the Roaring Brook, located in Moscow, PA. I have fished the waters for most of my life, however I have never experienced a hatch quite like the sulfur hatch that is currently on the water. No lie, twenty-five trout in a little under two hours. What is even more incredible about this is the section of the Brook that I fish is catch and release artifical lure only, natural reproduction. Thats right!!! all natives, and most over twelve inches long. From my prior experiences this hatch will last for about three weeks. If you are interested in fishing the area give me a call, I would be happy to give you directions. |
