Yes Linda, if you are a shore fisherman as I am.Try using live bait such as creek chubs or shiners about 2 or 3 inches long on the bottom. I use a 1/4 ounce egg sinker with a bb split shot stopper about a foot above the hook. You can also use a floating jig with this same method.
