: I have never seen the river as low as it was Sunday 10-1-00.The fishing was terrible,only 1 small rainbow (13") and a few small bass (6"-10").I did read the Corps report and it said that larger than normal releases of water from the dam are happening due to the construction at the spillway.I've seen no proof of this as canoeing on 10-1 was very poor due to many rocks protruding and in some places the water was only a few inches deep.This makes for very poor canoeing conditions.
