: fished from about 4:00 p m to 7:00 p m caught 1 white bass two striped bass and a channel cat on nightcrawlers under a bobber lost a couple pretty nice smallmouth bass one spit the hook and the other was feet from the shore and got off pretty good fishing overall anyone wtih good fishing tips please reply If you have access to a boat, I would recommend fishing in the Dashields Dam Pool around Leetsdale. Anchor in front of dam and jigs with minnows should get you some nice Walleye. On the Glenwillard side of the river, fish the riprap the whole way down to the Glenwillard Boat Club docks. There is a sandbar starting at the docks and stretching to the mouth of Flaugherty Run. Lots of fish around the docks and the mouth of the stream. Red Bug/Pumpkinseed Worms and Green/Silver crankbaits do very well here. July 15 in the evening, brother and I caught 6 smallmouth (3 were 3lbs. plus), two stripers (20in & 22in), 4 Walleye (all 16 in plus) and two sauger. All were caught between 6-10pm. Also, fish the sheetpiling and barges on the Leetsdale side. Have landed a number of big largemouth and a few Tiger Musky. |
