[ Lake Erie & Tributaries Fishing Report ]

* Lake Erie surface temperatures are in the low to mid 30's. Be sure to
check the latest marine forecast for up-to-date lake conditions.*

Although recent temperatures should help to form ice, most main lake ice is
questionable at best. A few anglers have fished limited areas of Sandusky
Bay.


Steelhead:

Over the past weekend (January 10) a few steelhead were caught in the upper
stretches of the Grand and Chagrin Rivers, and also in parts of the Rocky
River. With the current weather conditions Lake Erie's tributaries will
most likely be ice locked soon. Check with local bait shops for up-to-date
river conditions.
