The morning began with rain and a quick stop at Snug Harbor Bait Shop for final needs 440-593-3755 and a weather radar check.

Boated east to Turkey Creek where the drifting action started quick.

West wind was stiff and the smallmouth were bitting.

Water temperature was 58 degrees and a double also came quick.

Worked 25 to 15 feet but the best depth was 20 feet.

Fish were on the big size today. One prize "Fish Ohio" smallmouth here.

Soon a prize "Fish Ohio" yellow perch was put in the cooler.

By mid day the lake began to lay down but the wind remained west. Fishing action slowed here. Moved west several miles to the barge area and found it to be also slow there.

Moved out to 38 feet where the action picked up to catching a lot more yellow perch and white perch.

Shortly prior to quiting moved to 45 feet and found a nice walleye to end the day on. Ended the day with a nice cooler of smallmouth, perch and walleye.

Great day, Great group!!!
