Another fast month is about over with now. In a couple days it will be September and the beginning of the end of our summer season and my much celebrated 40th year at this.

I really don't have nothing new to write about that hasn't been discussed already many times over this summer. We once again had our share of crap weather in the last two week period. Fishing reguardless remains very good. And fuel prices remain stubbornly high.

The Walleyes do seem to be making their seasonal retreat back closer to home a bit now that we are approaching September. It's the same patterns and routines every year. It's funny how repetitious these fish really are each year. I'm not ready to say they are close in yet though as we are still running out 10-12 miles each day. Ugh.

We still have a nice schedule on the books as we enter this month of September and hopefully we can get most of these trips in. August wasn't all too kind to us as I was forced to cancel maybe half a dozen trips due to the weather and wind. A rather big hit for us just in one month. But even with a good schedule going forward we do have some availability open this month if anyone would be interested in a late summer fishing adventure with us and a guaranteed freezer filling run. It's still not too late! Give me a call or text at 216-387-2656 and we'll gladly set you up!
