Trout run is full of steelies below the gate. The winter has been mild with all the local streams clear of ice. The amount of fish here shows the amount that should have entered all the other streams. The mouth of Trout run has seen some calm days with next to few or no fishermen. The mouth is a good place to try when in the area but Trout run steam it self is NO FISHING. The mouth is a great place on Lake Erie to try for those tackle busting steelies.
