Welcome back everyone!! This year hopefully will be enjoyable even though the gas prices are astronomical. LAW ENFORCEMENT ISSUES: Please be advised that trailer inspections and traffic patterns/signs at Walnut Creek Access will be enforced. Make sure your trailer is inspected if needed (3000 + lbs). Also, watch for all directional signs on the premises. STOP signs, DO NOT ENTER signs, WRONG WAY signs etc.... It has been this way for quite a while now so please be aware. FISHING: So far I haven't heard any good reports on fishing. Only a few boats going out yet and mostly for Bass. No reports yet on Perch or Walleye. Water temperature is still cold. It was up to 51 degrees now as of today it is only 42 degrees. It seems to be heading in the wrong direction. FISH FOR FREE DAYS: Memorial Day, May 30, and Labor Day, September 5, are Fish for Free days. All rules remain except you do not need a license. Also, Cabela's is having a contest ocinsiding with Memorial Day's Fish For Free day. It is called Cabela's "Wanna Go Fishing For Millions". You can find information on it on the PFBC website.
