WALLEYE: Alvin Smedley of Pittsburgh, PA brought in this 4 pound 12 ounce Walleye. It was 25 ¼ inches long and had a girth of 13 inches. He caught it out in 40 ft of water between Trout Run and Godfrey. It was caught on a Purple/Yellow worm harness. He said he always reads my report and he is retired now so he will be here more often.

Frank Mazola of Fairview, PA brought in this 8 pound 5 ½ ounce Walleye. It was 29 ½ inches long and had a girth of 15 inches. He caught it out on the Pegasus in 40 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on a Rainbow Renowsky. Well, it seems that the Walleye are finally starting to bite. There have been reports that the boats have been limiting at night for a while now. Now they have started to bite during the day. Not real good yet but they are getting some. Best place is in 40 – 50 ft of water using planer boards. PERCH: They have been catching the Perch regularly but not consistently. Few are limiting but I have been hearing the marks are real good. Mostly out from Walnut Creek, Trout Run and Godfrey Run in around 50 ft of water.
