SMALL MOUTH BASS: Craig Hatlapatka of Pittsburgh, PA brought in a 5 pound 14 3/4 ounce Smallmouth. It was 20 1/2 inches long and had a girth of 16 1/4 inches. He caught it out in 20 ft of water West of Walnut Creek on a flathead Shiner. He was on "Sea Wolf Charters". WALLEYE AND PERCH: This is my first report of this season. There is nothing going on so far but a few boats going out. It was nice out today and the lake wasn't too bad at 2-3 ft waves. The water temperature is still 53 degrees so the Walleye are not biting during the day yet and I haven't even heard too many reports of night fishing being good. The Perch seem to be out east off the Light house in 52 ft of water. I had a few boats out of Walnut Creek today fishing for Perch but I haven't heard any reports of catching them. FACILITY: The channel was dredged out in the beginning of April and all the docks are in. Please don’t forget the new traffic pattern. There are still a few of the boaters who are coming down the road the old way. The traffic pattern is changed so please look at the signs. Especially the Stop sign when you first come in. No one seems to see it and go right through it. I had three vehicles in a row run right through the sign and not even slow down.
