STEELHEAD: Anthony Miller brought in his fish for First Fish Award. It was 6 pounds 8 ounces, 25 inches long and had a girth of 16 inches. He caught it in the Walnut Creek basin on a Black Mini Foo and Maggots. This has been a slow year. We had some rain on Wednesday night so it brought the creeks up and now Friday it is fishable. Most of the fisherpersons are fishing up in the Walnut Creek while just a few are down at the mouth and around the marina. The water right now is just the right color and there are fish in. OFFICE HOURS: This is the ending of another season. Our office will only be open on: FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS…………7 AM to 5:30 PM until December 20. After that the office will be closed until next April.
NEW FISHING LICENSES: Don’t forget to get your fishing license for next year. They are on sell now and they make very good Christmas gifts.
