WALLEYE: Eleven year old Michael Rossi of Center Township, PA came in with a nice 7 pound 9 ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 28 inches long and had a girth of 16 inches. He caught his out in 69 ft of water off Virginia’s Beach. He caught it on a “Kojak Special” lure. The color was green.
Eleven year old Vinny Rossi of South Fayette, PA received an Angler Award too for his 7 pound 5 ½ ounce Walleye. It was 28 inches long and had a girth of 16 ½ inches. His was fat all in one place and his cousins’ (above) was fat all over. He caught his in 69 ft of water off Virginia’s Beach also. He also caught it on a “Kojak Special” lure. His color was Watermelon.
PERCH: Eight year old Joshua Gurtner of West Mifflin, PA brought in his Perch for Angler Award. It was 12 ¾ ounces, 11 ¼ inches long and had a girth of 9 inches. He caught it out in 70 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on an Emerald shiner.
