SMALL MOUTH BASS: Jared Baehl of Poseyville, IN. brought in a 6 pound 11 ounce Small mouth Bass. It was 21 ¼ inches long and had a girth of 18 ½ inches. He caught it on “Sea Wolf Charter” out west of Walnut Creek in around 18 ft of water. He was fishing with minnows when it was caught.

PERCH: Autumn Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA brought in a Perch for Angler Award. It was 1 pound 4 ounces and was 13 ½ inches long with a 10 inch girth. She caught it out in around 35 ft of water off Trout Run on a “Golden Shiner”. I had approximately 50 boats out today but not too many were catching. The Perch is the only thing that seems to be biting and they aren’t biting very well. I have yet to hear of anyone limiting. There were not as many people or boats as expected for a Memorial Day weekend. I guess the gas crunch has put a damper on a lot of things. Hopefully next week will be a lot nicer. Weather wise it is supposed to be nicer.
