Nice Brown trout and steelies 10/19/2013

Saturday the 19th weather report was nasty, but they were wrong again in our favor. The muddy water had near no visibility from the previous windy day. Started in front of Trout Run with light winds and 58 degree coffee colored water. Before we knew it. WOW! what a nice 9 pound 9 ounce brown trout.

Next we had a tackle busting steelie battle his way to freedom. Within a few minuets steelhead action again was jumping on the water and we had a singing reel. 10 minuets later the fish was in the boat.

Trolled towards Walnut and found a fresh steelie about half way. The water was beginning to show signs of turning green near noon but rain was getting close. All fish were caught on black with no red hits at all. 10 foot depth or less was fished. Good day for muddy water. Only four boats out this day for a Saturday thanks to the weather man.
