Yellow Perch, Crappies, & Bluegills are hot right now in Horseshoe Pond, the lagoons, & Pier 2 in Presque Isle Bay.

The Walnut Creek Boat Basin has been supplying a great area to fish for steelhead with easy access & wheelchair accessibility.

A packed house of 75+ at the Steelhead Association meeting with Erie officers & Joe Russell from Western Crawford County PFBC giving a presentation on the need for a Fishing License increase.

Time restrictions still exist in the yellow area being closed to fishing from 10PM till 5 AM until the Trout Opener. The white sections are open 24/7 except for 32 hrs. prior to the Opening of Trout at 8 AM
