: I'm wanting to fish Kinzu for the first time from Marienville, Pa. Ive been told its a hard lake to fish especially for the unfamiliar. What kind of fish can your fish for and where. And wheres the best launch to use from Marienville, PA. : Thanks Well, for you coming from Marienville right up 59 to the damn. The Wolfrun marina if you want to pay to launch or you can turn right just before the Kinzua Bridge and goto one of the camping areas up there. Some are free to launch and some are'nt. Now as for fishing the Kinzua, it has anything and everything. As you know they just cought the new state record Northern Pike there this month. And there are plenty of everything else. Muskie, Walleye, Bass, Perch and whatever. As for the good spots to fish, in my own personal opinion the entire lake is good. I do not believe there is one or a few spots that are better than others. Reason being the water level is fluctuated som much from the dam, that the fish do not localise in any one area. And thats it in a nutshell. Hope i could help. |
