| Me and a buddy went on a canoe trip from Dawson to Layton today. We were fishing for Bass. We caught about 30 smallmouth and rock bass. The surprise was that we also caught six trout. The biggest was a 17 inch rainbow. The rest were between 10 and 14 inches. We found a cold water feeder stream and they were positioned where it dumped into the Yough. We saw about twenty really nice trout. There was a huge palomino about 20-22 inches, but he wouldn't take anything. Overall, it was a great day. Just wanted to give a heads up to all of you trout lovers out there. Happy Fishing!!! |
