WALLEYE: Matthew David Grabill of Fargo N.D. was on leave from the United States Marine Corp. and came in with a 9 pound 6 ½ ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 29 ½ inches long and had a girth of 16 ½ inches. He was in 30 ft of water off of Elk Creek using a Green and Orange plug. PERCH: People going out for Perch are getting them in anywhere from 48 ft to 60 ft mostly straight out of Walnut and then going east a little. No big numbers yet but they are picking at them. WALNUT CREEK: The water temperature is 60 degrees right now and it is sunny. The channel and the traffic section of the marina has been dredged. The Lake is about 2 feet low so be very careful while coming and going. Keep your props up as much as possible.

UPDATE OF WALNUT CREEK MARINA MEMORIAL WALL ------JUNE 2013 It's time to come down and take a fresh look at the Wall and the Garden at the Marina. We are currently doing some work on the garden itself. Planting new flowers, new plants and the path has been moved, which was making mowing difficult. Though we do not have any capstones left to engrave, we still have many pavers on the wall to be engraved as birthday, memorial or anniversary gifts. If you do not know what to give a friend or family. |
