We got out both Sat and Sun, Sat was very calm and glass at times. This made for an easy troll, the Walleye bite was spotty and the schools were small, but when you got into them they were willing. Sun was supposed to be the same but the weather man got it wrong again. the wind from the east was far from low 5 mph promised. The wind got the water up on a constant 3-4 and with quite a few of 4-4 waves thrown in. We decided to fish one direction and not fight the wind and the waves as they were crossing most of the day. we did manage a nice total of 23 for the day. all aroung 6-8 lb class. The best colors of the day were gold, black and purple. Not one bait work better than the others. We statyed in 75' all day, fished the school at its center. Good Luck to All |
