[ Lake Erie & Tributaries Fishing Report ]

STEELHEAD:

Eleven year old Adam Melenyzer and Bill Williams of Charleroi, PA brought in a nice looking Steelhead. It almost made Angler Award at 9 pounds - 13 ounces, 30 inches long. It was caught it off Godfrey in 7 ft. of water on an Orange Reef Runner.

Paul Chinikidiadi of Clovis, New Mexico brought in this nice 15 pound - 2 ounce Steelhead. It was 32 inches long and had a girth of 21 inches. He caught it at the Stop Sign hole at Walnut Creek on “Crystal Meth” fly. The color was Pink.

Fifteen year old Nikko Harris of Fairview caught this 8 pound 8 ounce Steelhead. It was 31 inches long and had a girth of 15 inches. He caught it at the Water falls in Walnut Creek on sucker spawn. His color was pink.

Jordan Hendricks of Washington, PA brought in a nice looking 10 pound – 4 ounce Steelhead. It was 28 inches long and had a girth of 17 ½ inches. He caught it at the first Project hole on Walnut Creek on an Olive Wooly Bugger.

FIRST FISH:

Nine year old Cyruss Boyer of Shippensburg, PA brought in his first Steelhead. He caught it out on the North Channel wall at Walnut Creek on Spinner bait. The color was Orange.

PERCH:

Mary Lou Watson from Clarion, PA came in with this 1 pound - 4 ounce Perch for Angler Award. It was 14 inches long and had a girth of 9 ¼ inches. She caught it straight out of Walnut Creek in 75 ft of water on a Golden Shiner.
