SMALLMOUTH BASS:

Ed Fogarty of Pittsburgh was out on a Charter with Sea Wolf.  He brought in this six pound Smallmouth Bass. It was 21 ½ inches long and had a girth of 16 ¾ inches. He caught it East of Walnut in 15 ft of water on an emerald shiner. They caught forty Smallmouth altogether for catch and release.

MARINA NEWS:

We have had a few boaters hitting bottom out in the lake bout seventy to one hundred feet off the mouth of the channel. The sand bar is too far out for the machine to dig so it dug in front of the bar around 10 ft deep and one hundred to one hundred fifty feet wide. Hopefully, the wave action will move the sandbar to fill in the hole they dug.

The wind warning light is up and running.

The rope lights in the channel and the flag pole rope will hopefully be put up in a couple weeks. The men are working on the building at the Hatchery for now. When they get a chance they will come down to hook the lights and rope up.
