I got a couple pictures of the marina so you can see what the water looks like. It is up and has a chocolatey color to it.

STEELHEAD:

This week has been slow in producing any good fishing pictures. I guess people were just in a hurry to get home for Thanksgiving. They were catching a few until Thanksgiving Day but on Thursday the creek was so high and so was the wind at 36 knots that it made it almost impossible to do any good. I did have a few people catch though, mostly in the marina. The creeks were up to the bank and rolling very fast. We didn't get the snow that was predicted even though I heard a lot of the southern part of Erie got about 2
inches.

I heard quite a few different theories on what to use to catch the fish. I was told they are biting on: mealworms, grubs, night crawlers, power bait, minnows, egg sacks and single eggs. I even had a man tell me that someone was using marshmallow and grubs together and catching fish.

Today, Friday, the snow is now coming down. It got real cold in a matter of about 15 minutes and the snow started. The creek is high and cloudy in color. The people are starting to catch some fish but there are a lot of smaller ones. That might be why I haven't had too many come in for weighing.
MARINA OPERATIONS:
The hours of operations for Walnut Creek office will be changing to our season ending schedule. As of December 3rd the office and restrooms will
only be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm. The Port-A-Johns will still be here so please use them.
