[ Lake Erie & Tributaries Fishing Report ]

WALLEYE:

Nine year old Codey Venanzio, twelve year old Julia Stellavotte, nine year old Austin Glaister and nine year old Lucas Stellavotte brought in this Walleye for weighing. It was 3 lb. 10 oz. was 24 inches long and 11 ¾ inch girth. They said they all helped bring it in. They caught it west of Walnut Creek in 26 ft water on a Renowski.

Wags Gruver from McKean caught this Walleye while he was out Perching. He caught it 4 miles straight out of Walnut Creek in 48 ft of water on a minnow with a Chartreuse spreader. It was 8 lb. 6 oz. and was 29 ¾ inches long with a girth of 17 ¾ inches.

Sixteen year old Andy Weitz, twelve year old Michael Weitz, and eleven year old Brett Benson are here with the fish Brett caught. He didn’t want to hold it so his friends held it for him. They caught it out in the 1st Trench in 74 ft of water on a worm harness. It was 9 lb 5 oz and was 29 ½ inches long with a girth of 18 inches.

PERCH:

Ten year old Shane Yarger of Limestone, PA came in with a Perch for Junior Angler Award. It was 1 lb and was 13 ¼ inches long with a 9 inch girth. He caught it in 48 ft of water North of Walnut Creek on a worm harness. Chartreuse was his color.

STEELHEAD:

Shane Yarger also brought in this 8 lb Steel head. It was 28 inches long with a 16 inch girth. He caught it on the same worm harness and Chartreuse but in 50 ft of water.
