PERCH:
Nine year old Eric Phelps and twelve year old Carl Phelps from Jeanette, PA came in and received a citation for their Perch. Eric's was 13 1/2 inches long and had a girth of 12 1/4 inches. Carl's was 2 3/4 inches long and had a girth of 11 1/2 inches. They caught them in 60 feet of water straight out of Walnut Creek.

That is it for the pictures this week. No one is coming in to get their picture taken. And I am always missing the boats that have any.

WALLEYE:
It seems they have found a hiding place. Everyone who goes out for them comes back short of a limit. Most guys are going out in the first and second trench. Just a few are being caught.

STEELHEAD:
I have had a lot of people tell me that they heard the "Big Run" is in. That is not so. There are a few fish that come in when it rains but not the "Big Run". That usually happens in late to mid October. We have not had the rain that Pittsburgh is getting. It has sprinkled a couple times in the past few days but not too much of anything really. Some guys are catching a few up in the creek and even at the mouth. The boats started trolling and a couple have gotten caught but right now the Steelhead are starting to stage. The first big rain we get will probably bring in quite a few.

Till next report. Have a good weekend.
