Fourteen year old Patrick Russell of Perryopolis, PA caught this 8 pound 5 ˝ ounce steelhead in Walnut Creek. He caught it on a Rooster tail.

Darren Park of Beaver, PA caught this male steelhead in Walnut Creek on green power bait. It weighted in at 10 pound 11 ounces.

Conrad Brink of Clearfield County caught the first fish when the marina opened. It was 14 inches and he caught it 5 min and 40 seconds after we opened the marina. He said “But I didn’t keep i, it was too small.” I told him it didn’t matter. It was still the first fish caught.

Here are some pictures of the people around the marina when it opened on Wednesday. Only around 5 fish caught in the first hour and they were all little ones.
