There is a lot of debris being washed up onto the launch ramps. The high winds and high waves we had last week washed leaves and debris onto the ramps.

Even though we had 40 knot winds here, we still had quite a few fisher people around the marina. We even had three foot waves in the marina for a while.

The lake wasn't fishable today with 8-10 ft waves. The water is very muddy but I watched fish being caught.

Joe Chearney of Donegal, PA caught this one and it almost made an angler award. He said it isn't so cold once you start catching fish.

The fish are up in Walnut Creek. For the people who don't like to fish the marina, there is always the creek. The middle of the week isn't quite as crowded as the weekends.

The Steel head fishing is still very good. The best bait is single eggs, egg sacks, power bait, lures, and grubs. Of course you can fly fish too. Everyone has their special preference but I have seen quite a few get caught on each of these. There were people here from Ontario and Michigan for the steel head fishing this week.

The office building and restrooms will be open for one more week than it will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's ONLY until December 19. After that it will be closed until April 10, 2004. There will still be porta-johns for your convenience.

If you can't figure out what to get someone for Christmas, why not get them a fishing license. We should have them by next weekend.

PLEASE pick up your garbage and throw it in the cans or dumpsters. If you have loose line, throw it away too. It makes the place look nice and keeps everyone happy. DON'T LITTER.
