CONSTRUCTION:
The North porches are repaved and the sidewalk is next. Please be patient and use the South door to enter the building until the sidewalk is completed.

The lights for the parking area will be put in this fall.

FISH FRY:
Walnut Creeks Annual Fish Fry is being set up. The date is September 7, Sunday at noon. Everyone is welcome but MUST bring a dish and fresh fish. Sign-up sheets are in the lobby and on the south door of the office building. We still need people to volunteer to fry fish, to bring a couple folding tables, and lots of food and fish. Fish must be here by September 4 so it can be inspected and thawed. It will go on until the food is gone or until the building closes which ever comes first.

FISHING:
Walleye are in 30 ft out to the 70 ft depths. They are all around but they don't seem to be schooled up. There are a lot of little ones which is a good sign. Use downriggers 40 ft back and 48 ft down. Medium dipsys 200 ft back, and big dipsys 120 ft. Wormharnesses, Black and purple on cloudy days and green and yellow on sunny days. Watermelon works too on either day. You will need lots of worms though because there is a lot of sheephead, white bass, white perch, and gobies out there.

Perch are in 52-54 ft and in 58-60 ft straight out of Walnut and also between Trout and Walnut. Most perch are being caught while trolling for walleye. Emerald shiners is the preferred bait. Just look for the pack and park on outside of it. They are on the bottom a lot of the time. Just bounce the bottom a couple times and slowly reel up until they hit. Sometimes you can't even feel them hit.
