Western Erie County ... WCO John Bowser & DWCO Randy Leighton

Steelhead...
Streams continue to be low & clear requiring small line & hooks for a successful trip. The local Bait Shops will be more than happy to get you rigged right. Spoons have been working well in the Walnut Creek Boat Basin. Skein, egg sacks, Sparkle Minifoo's tipped with maggots, & minnows have all been doing well in the streams. Trout worms & minnows are the ticket for faster water areas.

Crappies ...
Marina Lake on Presque Isle is giving up large numbers of Crappie to anglers.

Perch...
The North & South Pier are producing some nice Perch. Burbot should be starting to appear shortly for their spawning run into the Bay.
