Hello -

Even though the weather has been a little bad the past few days and the winds have been strong - the walleyes has still been very highly pursued by local anglers.

Best areas have been both sides (east and west end) of Bluegrass Island, Buttonwood. The usual colors are producing and occasionally a smoke or root beer color is working because the water clarity is good. A good rule of thumb is to stick with bright colors like white, chartreuse, pink and orange when the water clarity is bad. With clearer water you can get away with using darker colors because they contrast against the clear water.

Females are showing up with eggs - please release all you sportsman. Chunky male eaters are providing the bulk of the action.
