Action has been the best near adjacent to the Western Basin reef complex, north of Kelleys Island in 35-40 feet of water, and areas 30-40 feet deep from Huron to Lorain. Anglers fishing hair jigs continue to produce in water 8-20 feet deep, however the bite is slowing down as the water warms. Purple and green have been the best colors.
