Where: Walleye fishing has been excellent northeast of the gravel pit, near the turnaround buoy of the Toledo shipping channel, south of Middle Sister Island, northwest of West Sister Island, north of "A" can of the Camp Perry firing range, from west of Rattlesnake Island to Northwest Reef, and east of Kelleys Island.
How: Anglers trolling are using worm harnesses with inline weights, divers or bottom bouncers, and also spoons pulled behind divers. Anglers casting are using mayfly rigs or are drifting with bottom bouncers and worm harnesses.
Where: Yellow perch fishing effort has been low with most good reports coming from between Green and Rattlesnake islands, and around Kelleys Island.
How: Perch spreaders with shiners fished near the bottom produce the most fish.
Where: Smallmouth bass are being caught around island shorelines in less than 25-feet of water. How: Smallmouth bass have been caught on tube jigs and also crankbaits or jerkbaits.
Where:Largemouth bass are being caught in the harbors and bays in the western basin and also along the main lake shoreline around Catawba.
How: Largemouth bass are being caught using crankbaits, spinner baits and soft plastics.
