| Open water fishing is getting under way in the western basin. Walleye have been caught by anglers using ice fishing techniques from their boat, and also by trollers. The best areas have been between Catawba and Green Island and also west of Catawba. Expect fishing to improve on and around the reefs and in other normal early spring locations as the water begins to warm. |
