Open water fishing has ended as ice has formed on most of the western basin. There have not been any reports of main lake ice fishing yet as the wind continues to move around the ice that has formed in the west end of the western basin. There have been a few good panfish reports from harbors. Check with local bait shops or guides before venturing out on Erie’s ice.
