Well it’s getting closer to get the boats in for the season. As far as the river update, they are catching walleye in both the main rivers that feed Lake Erie. Yet we had some snow last night,, which should be gone by Saturday. The only problem that I have with fishing the rivers is keeping the large females. There are plenty of jacks to take home to eat. Some of the bait shops have opened up over the last few days and I have noticed a few charters putting their boats in for this weekend. We still have some thin moving ice out in front of Port Clinton, so take that into consideration when going out the next few days. The shoreline and the reefs should start picking up within the next week as long as lake doesn’t muddy up. We still have some dates open in April for those spring walleye, just give us a call, we are offering a weekday special for the month. Good fishin |
