: Does anyone know of any other local lake erie tribs other than big creek and paine falls? I live in grand river and I dotn ahve the luxury to travel far on the weekends.. any help is greatly appreiciated !!!!thanks -John

There are many good steelhead holding waters other than those you mentioned. Euclid creek in CLeveland will hold good numbers of fish at times although it is heavily fished on weekends. Arcola creek, Cowles creek in Geneva, Mill creek are all good at times and are fishable when the grand is high. Get a Ohio County Map and look for tributaries either off Lake Erie or the Grand. With alittle scouting, you will be able to find good spots anytime you want to go out. Dont be afraid to knock on doors to get permission to fish private land, you'll be surprise at how easy it is and also can get some unpressured fishing in.
