WOW! AWESOME 14 Pound 4 Ounce Walleye Caught 7/31/2013

WOW! What a catch! With Rod in hand this 14 pound 4 ounces walleye was caught aboard the SeaWolf while drifting in 55 foot of water northwest of Walnut Creek using a nightcrawler.
This was the largest walleye ever weight in at the Walnut Creek Access office. Largest ever heard of being caught in the area.

Fishing has been great for good size fish this year. Lots of big smiles these fish do bring.

Kids have fun to as these boy helped put 36 eaters in the cooler all on night crawlers drifting in 30 feet of water. Rod in Hand as always.

Lately the big eyes have been in the cooler. 120 quart cooler is not big enough to hold these 30 walleye as the live well must also be used.

Sunday 8/11/2013 fishing was AWESOME! As 36 big eyes were caught on crawlers .With ROD in HAND slow movement is always the method aboard the SeaWolf..
The slow motion gives the angler the thrill of the bite and the walleye fight all the way to the net.

Just another look at the 14 pounds and 4 ounces walleye having a 20 inch girth looks like on shore.

POT BELLY WALLEYE! Caught on purple off to the taxidermist..

Great catch!

Tight Lines Captain Ron
