28 Smallmouth for Eddie Today! FANTASTIC Day again 05/24/03

The crew wanted four buckets of Golden Shiners today. Smiling Joe just keeps Smiling as he loads up the buckets.
Hansen's Bait Stand 814-838-1642

Started in 16 feet with fish on as soon as the lines hit the water. First over 20 came quick!

Same spot as yesterday. 5 miles east of Presque Isle. Light southeast wind with lots of shiners on board.

Wind remained light but the bite was heavy.

The wind shifted to the north east and the second over 20 came dancing and diving to the boat.

The third over 20 inches made eight in two days. (20 to 22 inches) UNBELIEVABLE

Stayed mostly in 15 to 25 feet again today.

The afternoon wind switched to the west and the fish kept biting. The crew kept good count today with 130 caught. Yesterdays action was unbelievable as was todays. Two days of Fantastic smallmouth fishing for this crew!

The 130 caught today made us wonder how many we really did catch yesterday since there was little time for the captain to fish yesterday, but today I had time to catch my share.
