fishing on this end has been kinda slow. the smallmouth are showing up in good numbers around elk creek, and the surrounding shoreline, have seen a few guys use the boat ramp at elk creek, but i don't think i will try it. i did try casting offshore at night though, around the mouth of raccoon, only caught one walleye, in three trips. finding the lake in good condition is the problem, its been windy. endinboro did get get me a stringer full of really nice crappie last thursday night. great size to these fish. if using the ramp at the beach directly across in 14-10 feet of water right on the ledge where it starts to shallow to 10 feet, emerald shiners under a bobber. they really started hitting about a half hour before dark. and they where still hitting when we left. |
