| I just returned home to South Carolina after a week of fishing on Elk Creek. It sure felt good to be back on the stream i fished in my childhood. The water was very low and clear but I did very well with some minnows in the faster water. The deeper pools held lots of fish but they were very spooky, especially when people walk through the middle of a hole to save a $.20 hook. fortunatly I am pleased to say that was not the norm. people were great fish, were great, weather was great, and although the stream was low and clear it was great. What a great fishery it has turned into. enjoy what you have people! |
