I agreee with dean on his ways of running these fish. I feel for you guys sugesting 4lbs test line I know your noodle rods work but start thinking fish here those 22 to 28 inch fish are only 5 to 7 pounds. I'd hate to see you lose a real fish because of some of these guys advice. When we start talking 10 to 15 pound fish those guys with the light stuff don't know what hit them. The florocarbon line is some real good stuff and the lightest its listed at is 8 lbs test. Want to know why start looking at line diameters and you will figure it out. I have watched lots of you guys catch fish on 4lbs but I haven't seen anyone land one over 12 pounds except by shear luck. I stopped fishing for little stuff after my freezer was stocked now I sight fish only the biggest ones. You make your own judgement call but i will stick with my florocarbon line 8lbs. P.S. I saw a guy land one on 2lbs line whith an ultra light about 6 pound fish luckly the fish ran out of water and beached itself.
