theres fish in everywhere, the problem is low clear water. i fished elk creek yesterday and walked from the boat launch to route 5 and saw alot of fish.getting them to strike was the problem, they were so spooked i felt sorry for them. i did catch and realease one fish wich fell for a drifting minnow, the hole i was fishing was not even 18 inches deep,and clear as drinking water. after elk i tried crooked creek and it was way to low to fish the "honey holes". offshore there still catching alot of fish when they can due to lake conditions. a couple of days of rain may make the creeks high and unfish-able for a day or two but it will sure bring in more fresh and frisky fish. its still early for creeks such as raccoon, although a few fish have ventured in theres not alot. |
