Fishing Friday the 13th was full of excitement. Most fish caught were male salmon but the big 11+ pounder was a steelie.

The morning action was about 5 hookups per pass in front of trout run. The action slowed around 10 but many fish had been caught by then. The shore line from Elk to Walnut has many fish waiting to enter the streams. By the way, many fish are in the streams already with many many angler surounding the holes in pursuit of these tackle busting rainbows.

The channel at Walnut is shallow. The wall side (full of angler now )is the deepest side. There is a lot of broken line in the channel from the wall fishermen snagging up on the rocks. Check your prop for line often.

Great day on the lake!!!!!!!!!!!!!
