: : Elk wasn't too bad Sunday (10/2). Alot of people at the tressle, about 20-30, and alot of fish. The water is low and clear, and they are hanging in the holes pretty good. Some good sizes to be had. There are a few left at Foley's, but not too many and spread apart pretty good. With some good rain and some luck, the next weekend should be good. THey were nibbling on eggs, small stones and pheasents. Not much else seemed to work. Tight lines everybody!!! : I was there on sunday afternoon. I was the one on the highwall side catching steels on night crawlers. Bites were very light almost unnoticed you had to pay close attention or you missed them mouthing the bait. I caught 2 at the tressel and lost a third. Nobody else seemed to be haveing any luck I sugest useing 3 feet of floracarbon line on a swivel. Just let your crawler sink now sinkers when its on the bottom just move it 6 or 8 inches every minute or so this doesn't seem to spook them like others were doing keep this up till you are out of the pile of fish in the middle. With luck one will take an interest in your bait. let him taste it aliittle before you set the hook. I saw alot of fish missed because people set to quick. One fish I caught picked the bait up four times before comitting to it.
