Walleye fishing today was good north of Walnut Creek 6 miles (882-884 and 390-408). Fish size was a mixed bag. Average boat catch was 5 to 10 walleye. A good many steelhead are also in this same area.
Another good walleye spot has been the 300 area on the north side of the first trench. 
The Kids had a great time catching these monsters. 
Many large walleye continue to be caught. Perch are being caught in good numbers by the walleye anglers west of 325 on the south side of the trench and 305 and west on the north side of the second trench (MANY Jumbos here!!!!!!). The past week has seen the large walleye school north of the second trench in the northwest corner slip back into Ohio at the present time. The fish have moved in some there. |
