: The lake just went through terrible storms. I heare the waves got to 12ft. before we arrived. Spent Wed. hunting for the fish. After three hours we gave up and just figured they were scattered. Saw them everywhere, but in no numbers. Fished the evening between the trenches and boated a few. : Thursday we went off the point and got into them in 62-70 ft. of water. The usual colors of black/purple, watermellon and my home-maid 3D harnessees. The bite needed a stutter in the troll, S pattern or stop and go. Big dipseys with our line (braided) 150-160' back : Friday we went back to the same area, only shallower. Found fish from 55-68'. Same pattern same story. The fishing was simply tough. High waves, lots of debris, just down right finess trolling and detail counted. Back at it on Monday is the projection. By then the lake may have settled down. This trip may be a major steelie hunt. It is time for catch and release. : Jerry
