The walleye bite was excellent today. Getting them in the boat was another story. Several times had 4 or more on at one time making for great action. The fish were huge and wanted to fight to the bitter end. Steelhead action at the right time helped the walleye battle and keep the score even. Several fish over eight pounds were boated. These fellows from New York will return to finish the tie breaker next year. Wind: West is best Location: same spot that I have been fishing on the Method: Very slow drift troll with harness. |
