STEELHEAD

Steelhead action has increased since the water has begun to cool. Limits have been caught, but keeping the first three on is not always easy with these tackle-busting fighters.

Nice steelie caught on a black reef runner.

BROWN TROUT

A few brown trout have also been caught. Pictured is a 9 pound 9 ounce colorful male fish. This one was caught off Trout Run in very muddy water.

UPDATE FOR WALNUT CREEK MEMORIAL WALL

The wall is filling up fast with many new engraved pavers---but, we still have lots to be purchased and engraved. These make wonderful and meaningful gifts for you to have engraved as birthday or anniversary gifts, a memorial to some one close to you who may have fished or boated in our area - we even have some for beloved boats and dogs!

The Administration Office is open and you may pick up a brochure in the lobby or get in touch with me. All the money from the sale of the pavers goes into an endowment fund at the Erie Community Foundation to pay for upkeep and maintenance of the garden into perpetuity.
