WALLEYE:

Eight year old Matthew Bond of Erie brought in a 7 pound 2 ounce Walleye for Junior Angler Award. It was 27 ½ inches long and had a girth of 15 inches. He caught it out in 52 ft of water off Elk Creek. He was using Gator Bait Reef Runner.

Eight year old Owen Callaghan of Erie came in with his 6 pound 4 ounce Walleye for Junior Award. It was 26 ½ inches long and had a girth of 14 ¼ inches. He was out in 53 ft of water off Elk Creek and caught it on Iridescent Reef Runner.

I was told the Walleye are in. All along the shoreline they are giving off good marks. Also out in the deep waters too.

PERCH:

Haven’t seen any to take pictures but I am told that they are getting them also in the shallows. People mostly fishing in 27-37 ft of water anywhere between here and Elk Creek. Also east of Walnut Creek in the 50 ft waters.

WEATHER:

The weather for the next week doesn’t look very good. The waves aren’t too bad though seeing they are calling for 2 ft or less all through Monday anyway. But the chances for showers are anywhere between 40% and 60% all the way through Wednesday of next week. Thunderstorms for Sunday thru Wednesday.
